Second wine of Nénin. A beautiful material, with a well mastered breeding: this is an excellent introduction, at a reasonable price, to the world of Pomerol.

Blended of 79% Merlot and 21% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2016 Fugue de Nenin reveals plum preserves, baked black berries and black cherries with wafts of cigar box and pencil lead. Medium to full-bodied, plush and packed with black fruit and minty layers, it finishes Long. Robert Parker
