"The von Hovel 2010 Oberemmeler Hutte Riesling Kabinett is more dynamic and no less buoyant and juicy than the corresponding Scharzhofberger, and it far outshines the feinherb rendition on which I reported in Issue 199. Tart-edged and piquantly pip- and pit-tinged fresh apple and cherry are laced with crushed stone and saliva-liberating salinity leading to a lingering, lip-smacking, if relatively simple finish that is unabashedly but no means overly sweet. Look for this to perform admirably through at least 2028." - David Schildknecht (209, The Wine Advocate)
